Otto Fischer AG was founded in 1899 and is the second largest electrical material wholesaler in Switzerland. The independent company is run as a family operation and has a head count of over 280. Otto Fischer AG supplies the electrical installation branch throughout Switzerland with its comprehensive product range.

Challenge

Otto Fischer AG is active in various growth sectors: building automation, solar, network technology, energy efficiency and e-mobility. The old brand design no longer met the current requirements because it was based on a power pylon – a symbol of the past. The new brand had to position Otto Fischer AG as an innovative company with its finger on the pulse of the times.

Strategy

The common denominator among all business divisions within Otto Fischer AG is that they produce connections through which power flows. The new brand design visualizes this with the concise, connected “flowing” OF emblem. The company’s DNA is transferred to the present day in this way.

Result

The new brand identity was successfully launched in 2014. Otto Fischer AG consistently applied it on all levels, to position itself as an innovative, dynamic company in the Swiss energy market, and is thus equipped for the challenges of the future.
