Mirna Hamady is the Founder and Creative Director of Kashida Design, an esteemed design studio known for crafting bespoke product design. Kashida has created a niche for itself—known for celebrating the beauty of Arabic calligraphy through homewares, furniture, and corporate gifting experiences. High-quality production made with premium materials and meticulous artisanal execution has helped the brand grow beyond its local market.
With a passion for entrepreneurship ignited at the young age of 23, Mirna has been making a lasting impact in the design industry for over a decade. Her journey has been nothing short of remarkable, constantly exploring new opportunities and wearing multiple hats along the way.
Mirna’s work with Kashida Design has been a testament to her unmatched creativity and dedication. Collaborating with luxury brands has been her forte, ensuring unique and personalized creations for each client. From the stunning collaboration with Montblanc during Ramadan to the intricately designed Sephora Middle East employee gifts, Mirna’s touch adds elegance and cultural significance to every project.
Starting as a Graphic Designer with TAGbrands, Mirna’s talent and ambition soon propelled her to the role of Creative Director at Kashida Design. Her years of experience have honed her expertise in creating exceptional corporate gifting experiences, and she takes immense pride in her team’s efforts to serve clients with unparalleled dedication.
Her commitment to making a positive impact in the world has led her to collaborate with the Cartier Women’s Initiative, encouraging and supporting fellow entrepreneurs. The initiative offers invaluable human and social capital support, along with financial backing of up to 100,000 USD for aspiring women entrepreneurs.
Mirna holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the esteemed American University of Beirut. Her journey as a designer includes notable freelance projects, such as designing the award-winning Man’oushe book and the captivating 600-page Mouneh book, delving into Lebanon’s rich food traditions.
