Liam Farrell is the Creative Director and a co-owner of Unisono, an acclaimed strategic branding consultancy. His wealth of brand-centric expertise has seen him deliver successful projects for a wide ranging clientele, including: The Gulf Monetary Council, Majed Alfuttain, ADCB, STC, Khaleeji Bank, Bilaj Al Jazayer, Batelco, GFH, Infracorp, Big 5, BNI, Radio Bahrain, Injaz, Princess Waleed bin Talal, Cityscape, Bareeq, Edamah and Seef Properties.

Unisono has grown an enviable reputation at home and abroad thanks to their powerful combination of analytical thinking, strategic vision and creative craft. The agency’s portfolio eschews a house style, developing into a veritable who’s who of Bahrain’s household brand names. The firm’s work is a testament to their passion for transformational business ideas carried through impactful brand narratives and bold, striking identities.

Since 2003, Liam has grown into a prominent figure in the Middle East’s creative landscape. His journey began as Head of Saatchi & Saatchi’s Design Practice for their Bahrain office, a pivotal move that set the stage for his enduring impact on the region’s branding landscape. From his formative days working for various UK’s agencies to his transformative years in Bahrain, Liam has honed a unique perspective that marries regional cultural sensitivities with global design standards.

Liam’s creative journey is peppered by remarkable global achievements. Many are reflected in the 113 international awards he has earned to date; a score that puts him in the premier league of creative directors working in the field today. On top of his 17 REBRAND 100® awards, he believes his most prominent highlight is Unisono’s induction into the REBRAND Hall of Fame, the only Middle East-based company to reach this pinnacle to date and one both him and his team are incredibly proud of.

A strategic thinker, visual designer and wordsmith affords Liam a unique creative breadth that translates into brands that feel coherent, holistic and self-evident. A big fan of conceptual thinking, visual and literal puns as well as golden ratios, his work is typically imbued with layered meaning crafted upon a considered structural framework.

A proud dad, Liam’s greatest achievement so far is his daughter Madison; this joyfully-divine creation he owes to his wife’s endless tenacity and fearless devotion. Ma’shalah.
