Amaka is Change Management Program Manager for Google’s Go-to-Market (GTM) organization. In that role, she serves as the culture champion for the entire global team. Her key responsibilities are to establish, manage and oversee global diversity and inclusion initiatives to improve and up-level the experience for GTM Googlers.
Prior to her position at Google, Amaka was Senior Consultant at Deloitte with a focus on organizational transformation. Her position at Deloitte enabled her to harness the power of passion, purpose and dreams to motivate teams and organizations.
In her work with Fortune 1000 companies while at Deloitte, Amaka leveraged deep analytics to create compelling organizational campaigns and to inspire employee experiences. Beyond strategy development, she ensured effective implementation through change management, governance, communications, and training.
Some of Amaka’s notable achievements include:
• Lead on global change management communications for a top healthcare company and Platinum account undergoing international tech implementation
• Creation of a multi-media digital campaign to augment change management strategy which generated over 25,000 views and engagement from 1,800 employees
• Development of 15+ widely-read communications pieces, including a newsletter for the top 250 IT executives worldwide
• Honored by MIT as a Graduate Woman of Excellence award recipient (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
Prior to her role at Deloitte, Amaka worked for six years in divisions of Oliver Wyman and Boston Consulting Group on designing and developing engaging internal and customer/client-facing experiences. Two of those divisions are Lippincott, the renowned global consulting firm, and BrightHouse, a BCG Company and a global creative consultancy.
While specialized on private and commercial aviation brands at those firms, her work crossed a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, and healthcare.
Amaka holds an MBA from MIT Sloan. She is also a Cum Laude graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in African and African-American Studies and a minor in German.
