Projects Director and Associate
Kelvin Taylor is Project Director and Associate of Diadem a specialist brand implementation consultancy based in Australia. Over the past 15–years Diadem has implemented brand identities throughout 40 countries from its office network in the Asia Pacific region.
The company has 70 full time staff operating from 6 offices and works with national and international corporations including Citi Group, PwC, ANZ Bank, Goodman Group, Air New Zealand, BHP Billiton, and Macquarie Bank and retail brands including Uniqlo, Giorgio Armani, Giant Bikes, K-Mart and Westfield.
Based in Sydney, Kelvin has managed the implementation of brands in the built environment having worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne and Toronto with corporations including Caltex Oil Corporation, Telstra, BP and General Motors. His duties involve business development, design direction, strategy and procurement, management and marketing.
At Diadem Kelvin is involved across multiple work streams of the business covering multi-site rebranding programs, wayfinding, architectural signage and urban precinct installations. Key to the successful implementation of all work is an integrated ‘plan, develop and deliver’ project approach. Projects are approached in a holistic manner involving a range of design disciplines including graphic design, industrial design, interior design, architecture, engineering and project management.
Over the past 30 years Kelvin has worked in collaboration with leading designers and creative thinkers to help build legible spaces and enhance the user experience. It is this core aspect of enabling design that keeps him passionate about design and its value contribution in business.
Kelvin is a member of AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Association) and when he is not working in the branding and design field he is working in fine arts as a printmaker.
