Berenice Ring heads Sao Paulo-based Fox Branding, the Fox Communication arm dedicated to building and managing brands. In addition to her role at the helm of Fox Branding, she is Professor and Coordinator of MBA courses at FGV- Fundação Getúlio Vargas – the premier Brazilian higher education institution with respected programs in business. She is also a lecturer for CEO Forums on branding, megatrends, planning and innovation.

Her respected experience in building brands led her to assume key roles for various organizations. One was as project director for GMK— Instituição de Assistência George Mark Klabin— the NGO (non governmental agency) that called on her to rethink it’s brand. It was in need of sponsorship from large corporations.

GMK provides assistance to children and young people by offering comprehensive education, on professional and personal level, and inserting them into the labor market. Her work began with a survey to identify the DNA of the brand. The result is easily seen in the creation of the new visual identity and an entirely new brand strategy.

Berenice is the author of several published articles and contributed to the book 8 Mandates for Social Media Marketing Success, by Kent Huffman. She is now launching her first book TSUNAMI: Why Companies Who Surf this Huge Wave Arrive Ahead of its Competitors.

Berenice has been included, every year since its inception and always among the top 20, in the list of “The 100 Most Influential Marketing Professors of the World in Social Media,” published annually by the SMMarketing Magazine.”

Her solid education and training consist of an MBA in branding from ITAE, studies in business and marketing at FGV, first degree at Colégio Dante Alighieri, and a program in Brand Management at Brunel University.
